Registrations for Entrance/Merit Based Courses for academic Session 2018-19 Will Commence from 10th of February 2018 at 12:30 PM and the last date for applying is 15th of February 2017.

Student Desirous of seeking admission in Bachelors in Mass Communication and Multimedia Production (BMMMC) after applying online will have to appear in an entrance exam dates for which will be notified separately.
Instructions and Procedure for online submission
Online application Registration for shortlisting of students for Merit based Courses for academic Session 2018-19 Will Commence from 10th of February 2018 and the last date for applying for these courses will be 15th of February 2018.
1. Students who have passed Higher Secondary Part II examination (class 12th) of the J&K Board of School Education / CBSE, or an examination recognized as its equivalent by the University of Kashmir, are eligible for seeking admission to Merit based Courses of BG-1st Semester for the Session 2018-19
2. The students eligible for admission to BG Sem – I session 2018-19 of BA, B. Sc., B.Com, B. Com, BBA, BCA, are required to go through the guidelines, contained in Admission Brochure 2018
3. Female Student will only be granted admission in those courses which are otherwise not available in the colleges that fall within the catchment area of their permanent residential area
** The entire process of shortlisting of the students for Merit based courses is student friendly, transparent and hassle free and will be completed in 2 phases.
** After going through the eligibility criteria as specified in the Admission Brouchre and instructions click the button ‘I have read instruction’ and then click the ‘Apply’ button. This will open your Application Form join.
** Enter your Board Registration Number and Date of Birth as per your Matriculate details. You can use these details to edit your application till final submission is made (Course Prefernces once choosen cannot be changed)
** Enter your personal and academic details of the Qualifying Examination very carefully in the Application Form.
** After Clicking Submit and Continue , Choose the courses/subjects strictly as per your preference with Prefernce #1 being the highest and so on . By Preference we mean that at the time of framing the merit list we will first consider you for the course/subject for which you gave Preference 1, If you could not qualify for you first preference, we will consider you for Preference 2, Similarly we will continue for all Preferences.
** Check your details before you click the ‘Submit’ button
** On successful submission of your Application form you will get acknowledgement message containing your name and Applicant Number. Keep record of this acknowledgement message.
** Click the ‘Print Application Form’ button and get the printout.
** Student is then required to Submit the Hard Copy of this form and other documents in the college for Verification of eligibility by the admission committee.
** UNVERIFIED APPLICATIONS will not be accepted and shall not be consisdred while drawing the merit list
** The admission of the students is liable to be cancelled in the event of wrong information furnished by him / her in the Application Form submitted online.
** The students belonging to any reserved category should make its mention only if documentary support to this effect is already obtained from the issuing authority. No under process certificate will be entertained.
** The Provisional select list of students for admission will be drawn up by the college admission committee and duly notified through college website and will also be displayed on the college Notice Board. Besides, the select list will also be displayed on the college Notice Board.
** Selected Students will also have to Apply Online for University Registration and obtain a print of the application form
** On entering your ‘University FORM number’ your pre – filled Admission Form will open up wherein the student should check for the entries contained in his / her admission form
** The student should now take the printout of the submitted admission form on A4 paper by clicking the ‘Print’.
** Enclose all the documents as required along with affidavit / affidavits, self attested, and with the signed admission form and then submit the same to the concerned admission committee in the college for verification of the documents and the details contained in the form. Once approved by the concerned admission committee, the student shall be required to deposit the admission fee.
** Get a ‘Fee Challan’ from the Admission section for deposition of the fee in bank.
