ADMISSION INTO M.E. (Tool Design) /M.E. (CAD/CAM) & M.E.(DFM) COURSES – 2015 :
Central Institute of Tool Design is an ISO 90012008, ISO 299902010, ISO 140012004, and ISO 500012011 certified premier Institute in Asia to provide specialized training in Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM, Mechatronics & Robotics. The Institute was originally established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and IL0.

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for admission into the following Long Term courses conducted under Industry-Institution joint programme with UCE, Osmania University, Hyderabad, approved by AICTE commencing from August 2015.

1. MASTER OF ENGINEERING MECHANICAL- CADICAM-(MECC)-Full Time- (2 years / 4semesters)- 32 seats (15 General +3 SC + 1 ST + 1 PH Self sponsored + 5 Industry sponsored+ Creamy Layer (OBC) Category)

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mech/ Production / Mechatronics or equivalent. Minimum of 55% marks in the Qualifying examination from the Institutions approved by AICTE

Course fee : Self Sponsored – Rs. 39,000/— per semester Sponsored – Rs. 48,500 persemester

2.MASTER OF ENGINEERING (M.E.) -Too| Design – (METD) – Full Time – (2years/4 semesters) 32 seats (15 General +3 SC + 1 ST + 1 PH Self sponsored + 5 Industry sponsored+ Creamy Layer (OBC) Category)

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mech/ Production / Mechatronics or equivalent. Minimum of 55% marks in the Qualifying examination from the Institutions approved byAICTE

Course Fee: Self Sponsored – Rs. 39,000/- persemesterSponsored – Rs. 48,500 persemester 3.MASTER OF ENGINEERING (M.E.)-Design for Manufacture (ME DFM)- Full Time (2 years /4 semesters)-(Under process ofapproval) 32 seats (15 General +3 SC + 1 ST + 1 PH Self sponsored + 5 Industry sponsored+ Creamy Layer (OBC) Category)

Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech. Mech/ Production/Mechatronics! Automobile! Aeronautical orequivalent Minimum of 55% of marks inthe Qualifying examination from the Institution approved byAICTE.

Course Fee: SeIfSponsored – Rs. 39,000/- persemesterSponsored – Rs. 48,500 persemester

Age : 45years

Cost of Application : Rs. 800/- for general category and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST category candidates and for PWD candidates fully exempted. However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested bya Gazetted Officer.

Last date for submission of filled-in applications (upto 5.00pm at CITD) : 16-07-2015
Last date for submission of filled-in applications with late fee of Rs. 500/- : 20-07-2015
Date of Entrance Examination : 26-07-2015 Sunday, at11.00 am. at OU College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad

MODE OF SELECTION:
(1) Candidates under all categories will be selected based on the rank obtained in the Entrance examination.
(2) Reservation for SC/ST/PWD quota exists as per Govt. of India norms.

HOWTOAPPLY:
(A) Application form and prospectus can be obtained from Training Department, MSME Tool Room /Central Institute of Tool Design, Balanagar, Hyderabad — 500 037, on any working day between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.(Weekly holiday on Sunday) by paying application cost prescribed by Bank Challan or a crossed demand draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank, preferably on State Bank of Hyderabad, Balanagar Branch, Hyderabad – 37.

(B) Application form can also be downloaded from our website citdindia.org and the filled in application forms can be sent to the Director (Trg), CITD, Hyderabad, along with prescribed application cost by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad.

(C) Candidates who wish to considertheir application under sponsored category also, should submit the sponsoring letter and experience certificate along with the application. No age limit for sponsored category candidates. How ever preference will be given to those whom below 45 years candidates under sponsored category will be allotted seats strictly based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination subject to fulfilling the other criteria applicable to the category.
