JEHOM 2015 :
The Board will conduct the Entrance Test called JEHOM-2015 as well as Counselling for admission to Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management for the academic session 2015-16 as detailed below :

On-line form fill up process through Board’s Website : wbjeeb.in 14.08.2015 to 24.08.2015

Application fee payment in any Allahabad Bank branch : 17.08.2015 to 24.08.2015

Downloadable Admit card available in Board’s website : 25.08.2015 till the date of exam.

Date and time of Entrance Test : Saturday, 29rd August 2015 1 p.m. to 2p.m.( 1 hr.)

Subject of Test : Test on English Language, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics

Date of publication of Result : Sunday, 30th August 2015

Date and time of counselling : Monday,31st August 2015 from 12.30 p.m.

Venue of Counselling : WBJEEB Office at AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt lake, Kolkata-700 091

NB : Due to exigencies , any part of the above noted programme may be altered. If so, it would be communicated in due course through Board’s website.

Applicants seeking admission to AICTE approved Under Graduate (UG) Course in Hotel Management in the state of West Bengal for the academic session 2015-16 will have to appear at the state level Joint Entrance Examination (JEHOM-2015) to be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

EXAMINATION AND QUESTION PATTERN :
A written test will be conducted consisting of one paper consisting of following subjects :
** Test on English Language – 30 marks
** General Knowledge -30 marks
** Logical Reasoning – 20 marks
** Elementary Mathematics -20 marks

** The Question paper will contain fifty (50) questions each carrying two(2) marks.
** All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.
** Answers are to be marked (bubbled) on OMR Answer Sheets using black /blue ball point pen.
** Each question will have four answer options of which only one is correct.
** Each correct response will fetch 2 marks, each incorrect response will fetch (-1/2) mark, whereas no response will fetch zero mark.
** Multiple responses for any question will fetch (-1/2) mark.
** The questions will be printed in English.

ELIGIBILITY :
The candidates must be citizen of India having passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in General Stream from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent Examination.

Age: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2015.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
** Candidates intending to appear in the JEHOM-2015 examination shall have to apply through on-line application at Board’s website : wbjeeb.in from 14.08.2015 to 24.08.2015 for admission to four self-financed Private Hotel Management Colleges (offering Bachelors degree course in Hotel Management).

** Candidates need to visit the portal and CLICK the requisite link ONLINE APPLICATION JEHOM– 2015.

** During on-line application form fill up process all fields are to be properly filled by the candidates.

** A recent photograph and signature of the candidate is to be uploaded as per the instruction given during form fill up process..

** Once the documents are successfully uploaded, the system enters into the FEE PAYMENT mode.

** After successful fee payment, the candidates should take a printout of CONFIRMATION PAGE for their own record.

** There is no need to send any document by post.

** Necessary documents will have to be produced at the time of counselling and admission.

** The applicants are advised to retain with them a photo copy of the filled in application form and original Confirmation page for future reference.

** All applicants who appear to be prima facie eligible shall be provisionally permitted to sit for WBJEEM- 2015.

** If, after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature shall be cancelled even if he/she has appeared in JEHOM-2015 and secured a position in the merit list.

** The candidature shall also be cancelled if he/she fails to produce any of the required documents in original for fulfillment of eligibility and other criteria as specified earlier during counselling and physical admission and subsequent registration in affiliating university(es).

APPLICATION FEES :
The duly filled-in e-challan needs to be submitted with Rs. 506/- in cash (Application fee: Rs. 500/-, Bank charges: Rs. 6/-) in any one of the branches of Allahabad Bank on all working days from 17.08.2015 to 24.08.2015.
